Apothecary Products Continuous Giving Scholarship Recipients Named

Apothecary Products is thrilled to share Maggie Hamen and Nick Enos have been named 2023 recipients of its $2500 scholarship program, a scholarship awarded based on students exhibiting exemplary community stewardship.

Maggie, relative of Zion Mueller, Quality Assurance Manager for Apothecary Products, is a first-year student at Minnesota State University – Mankato majoring in Business. Maggie’s commitment to supporting her community began in high school where she was actively involved in the rural community she was raised. She has supported her community by being an active member of her church, volunteered at her local library, and drove awareness to the local women’s shelter. Maggie creatively came up with the idea to use her mother’s leftover cotton fabric from the mask-making days of COVID to sew toiletry bags which were gifted to the women’s shelter. Today, Maggie continues to donate these bags to shelters throughout Minnesota.

Nick, relative of Kristine Clausen, Vice President Human Resources for Apothecary Products, is a first-year student also at Minnesota State University – Mankato majoring in Business. Nick too began his commitment to supporting his community in high school, volunteering for various charities in partnership with his family and church. As an Asian American who was adopted at a young age, Nick has also actively participated in diversity programs in high school and college to drive awareness around these personal topics to foster inclusivity. Nick is a current member of the fraternity Phi Kappa Psi, which enables him opportunities to support fundraising and time-based giving activities for a variety of charities including the Children’s Miracle Network and Gillette Children’s Hospital.

We wish Maggie, Nick, and all the applicants success in their academic endeavors and thank all applicants for their role in building a better community.
